Iran buys 100 planes from Boeing with worth 17,000 million dollars

Last Sunday, Iranian government signed a deal to buy 100 planes from the American manufacturer Boeing which means one step further to open commercial relations with Washington after sanctions related to nuclear programme agreement were lifted.

According to Voice of America, US International public media, the agreement is estimated at 17,000 million dollars , about 15,000 million euros. This is the first transaction of this type since 1979.

Besides, Iran Air has reached an agreement with Airbus to buy 118 new airplanes among which are included the following: 21 aircrafts from A·320ceo family, 24 from A320neo family, 27 from A330ceo family, 18 A330neo-900, 16 from A350-1000 and 12 from aircrafts A380.

This huge order for Airbus is valued at 91,039 million dollars (82,224 million euros), regarding current list price.
