Iran seeks 3,000 million of investment

Iran seeks international investors to start the construction of a new refinery in Persian Gulf coast in order to increase its sales of oil and natural gas products in Asia. Companies from Japan and South Korea have already shown their interest in being part of the project.

Iran wants to start the construction of a new complex of refinery in Persian Gulf coast. The promoting company, Sirf Infraestructuras de Refinería, has announced that it will issue a tender in two or three months and some companies and investors from Japan and South Korea have already shown their interest, as the CEO of Siraf, Alireza Sadeghabadi, declared.

Iran plans to take advantage of the recent opening of the markets that had closed the doors after the sanctions, in order to develop an important chemical industry to produce more advanced goods in order to attract more income than raw materials.
After most of the sanctions that Iran has had for years were lifted, the country seeks to develop its energy industry.
