Spain will cooperate with those companies which invest in the Iranian market
The government will entirely support, in financial, commercial or even political terms, those firms which invest in this country, a place with "many opportunities" where Spanish companies can “contribute a lot”.
As The Spanish Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García-Legaz, said today in Teheran during his official visit to the Persian country in order to strengthen commercial ties, and investment with the Islamic Republic; as well as to show his support to the Spanish companies which participates in the largest Iranian oil industry fair.
In this sense, he pointed out that oil and gas sector as well as automotive sector and tourism count on great perspectives for Spanish companies. Therefore, the Government is will to "support them in all fields which is necessary".
Accordingly, he highlighted that the Government has already opened the possibility of financing business projects in Iran "something which did not exist last year". He gave insurance coverage for credits to export to Iran.
